my eyes you claim to have - to have eyes like a hawk.

you watch as I would - to watch someone like a hawk.

mome - a mohawk. The Mohawk tribe where the term gets its name is the most easterly tribe of the Iroquois Confederacy based in Mohawk Valley, now upstate New York.
